Accelerating IT Modernization

October 14, 2019 | 0730 - 0900

ABOUT

The Army recently released its plan for IT modernization. The service is exploring the best options for procurement and research and development for the technologies and policies that govern IT. What will that mean for the battlefield? How can the Army manage the ingestion of new technology? How can reductions in size, weight and power in hardware lead to improvements? And how should the service embrace commercial off the shelf technology?
