THE NAVY'S DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION

During this episode of C4ISRNET’s “Removing Stovepipes” webcast series, we will talk with Navy Chief Data Officer Thomas Sasala who is building a plan from scratch to store and make use of the vast array of data the service collects. He brought lessons learned from managing data previously for the Army, weaving goals into the Navy’s plan for newer technologies, including artificial intelligence and machine learning. We will ask about readying the data to use at sea and changes that the digital transformation will bring.
